My schedule for October 24th:
0600 - Run the PRT
0700- My wife's immigration interview appointment with the Embassy
0900- Afloat Training Group (ATG) 4 day inspection commences for my department. . . I play a huge role
1130- STA-21 results released??? (I get selected?!)
2130- Cardinals win game 5 of the World Series??? (Go Redbirds!)

Just kind of cool to think that this all could happen on the same day. Hope the results come sooner though!

Chris - I hope that the results don't take to the 24th, but I hope the Cards win the World Series! Where are you from? I'm from the STL area...

It seem like there a lot less applicants, but it could be that the some of the applicants don't know about this forum. I know there were at least 3 people at my command who wanted to submit a package but didn't get it in time who didn't even know about the site an the help or witty banter that goes on here. And I hope the Cards make it to the series but lose to the Rangers!!

The number one thing that is driving me nuts is not knowing how many people applied for the option I applied for. Last year there were only 14 qualified applications. I hope that less activity here does mean that less people applied. And I have also been reviewing my package. Not a good idea. Now I too am paranoid.

I didn't know about this site untill about a month ago. It has been the death of me. I need the results to come out so that I can get back to work. I stoped paying attention to baseball after the first strike.

Ugg, standing QD watch here at my command all day today. Our watch is inside of a big warehouse with the CO's office above me. He has a little window he can look out to see out here (and by chance me). I keep wondering if he's looking down at me which gets me wondering.... "He knows...".

Gonna be a long day for me.
