FY 2013 IDC Boards

Im just about done with all my forms. Should be turning them into the recruiter this week. All I have to do is wait until Sept.
 
I asked my recruiter if he has the numbers of how many pro-rec's they'll aim for. Awaiting response.

I am also applying in SEP12. The only missing component was the IDC OIC endorsement and I interviewed about a month ago. My recruiter told me she received "one of the endorsements." I am also working on two certifications before the deadline and perhaps even enrolling in a Masters program by AUG2012. Everything else is done so just waiting for SEP. Good luck to you RaginCajun.
 
Got my IDO interview June 22nd and my Board Interview 23 July. I plan on wearing my service dress uniform (AF Blues) this time to show that I am committed. Last time I interviewed with 4 people separately during the day. I work as a contractor at USSTRATCOM where I interviewed. I will be 1/3rd through grad school by the time I do these interviews which will be a plus. So far I have a 4.0GPA. I really hope I get picked up this time...
 
Does anyone have sample IP/IW Board interview questions? I found the intel ones, but I was curious if there where any more directed towards IP/IW.
 
Well, today had an unexpected treat. One of the guys in my Doctoral Cohort is a former Navy Intel Officer. Lots of good information.
 
This is my first post on the IDC forum and I'm applying for the Intel Sept board. I live in Miami but I'm applying through Jax. I'll try and keep it short and sweet...

Active duty: '01-'05 Navy AW
Reserves: '09-current Navy AWO
Undergraduate: University of Washington, B.A. in Business with a focus in Finance, GPA 3.3
Graduate: Enrolled for fall '12 at Penn State, Masters in GIS focusing in Geospatial Intel
Clearances: DHS-Secret, DOE-Q, DOD-TS/SCI
Current jobs: P-8A Electronic Warfare Operator Subject Matter Expert with ASEC and an
Air Enforcement Agent at the Dept. of Homeland Security

I had my interviews this last weekend, my first interview was with the IDC OIC in Jax, after the interview he said the only way I won't get accepted is because congressman and PHDs will get selected over me, but after reading other posts there are definitely more competitive candidates than me. I'm guessing he's going to be giving me a 100% recommendation, but who knows. The next interview I had was with Intel reservists an O-5 and O-6, I recieved really good feedback from them as well. Good luck to everyone!

Private Message me and I'll get you what info I can. I am a Prior AW (SS3) VP26 and AWA1 school Instructor. I just got picked up for IP. The OIC you interviewed with should have been a prior AW as well.
 
My recruiter just notified me that I am supposed to write a letter to the board on why I want to resubmit. Does anyone have a template for this and what types of topics shoudl be touched in this document?
 
Got a question. I have been told I have to rewrite my resume to match a specific navy template. I have not yet received the template from the recruiter. I am also being told that applications are being reviewed before interview dates are granted. Never had to go through this before. Anyone got insights?

Talk to Das. He's been though this before and I think he actually wrote a similar letter.
