I swore in today, signed everything and submitted my travel request for March. Officially an E-5 and excited for this upcoming adventure!

I'm flying because I'll be coming from Virginia and after seeing the winter storm that just came through, my recruiter suggested I fly. He said if I don't make it because I'm driving and it snows, that's on me... But if I'm flying and it snows, they can't argue with cancelled flights. I'll miss having a car toward the end though.
