True Romance is hilariousI'd add Tombstone to that list of ridiculous star cast 90's movies...also True Romance. It never made sense to me that True Romance didn't get bigger box office support.
It had so many heavy hitters in it, but there are a lot of folks unfamiliar with it. The Christopher Walken scene with Dennis Hopper is gold.True Romance is hilarious
I haven’t seen Severance mentioned here. Anyone enjoying the hell out of that? Anytime I’m at the piano, I can’t help but play the theme song. Even the music is severed/binary.
I flew back to Australia recently and watched it on the plane. Some of the scenes don't hold up too well (e.g. the bridge one), and Gene Hackman's Polish accent was... something, but overall a great watch. Shame on me for taking so long to get around to watching it!From 1977, “A Bridge Too Far” based upon Operation Market Garden, the attacks behind German lines in WW2. Quite the cast: Sean Connery, Gene Hackman, Michael Caine, Robert Redford.
I went to see Warfare last weekend in IMAX with Mrs Fester. Holy crap. Imagine the sheer intensity and authenticity of the Omaha Beach sequence of Saving Private Ryan, but lasting almost the entire runtime of the movie. Very hard to watch, and that was obviously the point. You really need to see this one on as big a screen as your wallet allows. Not Netflix, but coming on 4/11 as a theatrical release is Warfare.
Early reviews are excellent.
