Those of us that have talked and known prior board members know about this, now it doesn't apply to other designators, SWO can be quick too, but IWC and CEC often can take several days.

I figured out the time based on the number of applications and it is about a minute per application at best.

Someone also mentioned earlier in the thread that now they're figuring out OCS dates for the pro rec y's before publishing results. Hence september and this board have had longer wait times than we saw before

Some people get extensions to make sure their package is squared away (I had to ask for one). Though it only went a couple days past the deadline. Past that, probably just making sure paperwork is in order on both sides.
 
I think it’s just a big administration to move through lol the navy is huge. But yeah I think the sheer volume of applicants this time around is also contributing to the slow movement through the administrative pipelines; regardless of PRO REC Y or N it still takes time

I mean, hey, I hope they are taking their time; I really do. I would be very concerned if they weren’t.

They started doing that years ago, while it now takes longer for results to come out it saves time down the road, and allows those selected to know when they are scheduled when results come out, well generally.
