I still haven't received my official selection yet, but my recruiter just let me know that I need to complete my PRT before we can request an OCS date. He also told me that this could be a "practice PRT", because the official one needs to be done within 45 days of shipping. Has anyone else been told this?

I’m in BDCP and I asked my recruiter when will I need to take the prt and was told 30-60 days before OCS. I then said “ah I thought I’d take one when accepted or while in school” and then didn’t get an answer after I assume my recruiter is wrong and if your like isel or street applicant maybe your recruiter could be right.

Yes this was tue same for me. PRT + body comp need to be valid/ pass before OCS date.

I am in BDCP too. You need to pass the PRT to become active duty and start getting paid. Thats what my recruiter said
