Stay away from army aviation unless you're seriously interested and willing to wait a long time. I have friends who graduated and "commissioned" who don't go to AVBOLC until summer 2027 and the pipeline is a nightmare right now. They're also cutting a ton of pilot billets and the whole branch is just a mess.

Friend of mine just graduated the Chinook pipeline, pilot slots are being cut like crazy to the point he almost lost his seat in the downsize. Not a great time to enter Army Aviation.
 
Individual in army aviation currently. Reserves is getting cut entirely, guard units are receiving lots of draw downs, units getting reduced, and active has been cut drastically. Hours heavily reduced, non performing officers are getting transferred, flight hours are heavily cut. Big army hates army aviation lol.
