Retention issues are 12 years up stream from applicants and having a ton of JOs causes more problems then it solves

OAR score doesn’t matter, some of the subsections of the OAR factor into your ASTB score.

Literally. I have went and looked at old boards like the July 2024 spreadsheet. You’re seeing scores that are 4-6 getting SNA slots and here we are lmao

had my Chief talk to another Chief he worked with that is now an officer recruiter: since there were so many applicants this cycle, they are trying to get most of the OCS dates written out before posting official results. the officer recruiter believes that they'll be released tomorrow (take with a grain of salt)

They have been putting OCS dates on the results for years now, if they can't pinpoint a class they will just put FY 27. The people working this have many other task to do as well, and realistically many are more time sensitive than getting the results out which does suck. The civilians do most of the work after the board does the selections.
