Per the program authorization immediate selection is not reviewed by the board It is submitted and reviewed by NRC then final review by the OCM to make sure the person meets requirements, then process It is not a may but a will process

Yes, my bad. I just know that my packet had to be sent in for the same deadline as the March 3rd board and that SOMEONE reviews it. Sorry about that.

off topic, but jeez you have to be between 19-25 to qualify for I select for SWO? That seems pretty stringent.

They want people that will be more likely to do more time in service. Senior enlisted or older people typically don’t want to put in that kind of sea time. Especially with families.
