It would be odd but not unprecedented to have FY 26 mostly filled at this point, NRC also won't get hard goals for FY 26 until the end of the year so in the past they have tended to be cautious and only fill a percentage until they get hard goals.

There are some things that could be affecting spots that are being taken, my first thought is ISEL, those that are bypassing the board are taking the same spots as people going to the normal board process. The other could be those being redesignated in OCS, that will have more of an impact on smaller designators than it will on larger designators.

In the end you still need to get everything ready to submit because until the board schedule says the board is cancelled it is all just speculation.

The board schedule was updated last week. It’s canceled on the board schedule from mynavyhr

Anything is possible, but the only ones that will know are those keeping track of the numbers at NRC. There are a many reasons that could have resulted in getting to this point, some I mentioned in an earlier post and a pause will allow NRC to evaluate and adjust the board schedules and also the numbers of spots to be filled at each board. I sometimes call Supply a small designator but it is more accurate to day a medium sized designator, it is however a designator that has higher max age, and it is one that has less stringent vision restrictions which means you get more people applying. It is those reasons I would tell people to look at other designators they are qualified for.

If the next supply board is after June then I’ll have to submit a TIS waiver. I’ll be at 8 years in June. Plan was to submit next week for the April board.

You should be fine; submit your package if everything is in order. This will give the processor ample time to route your TIS waiver and medical documentation for the next board.
