Same exact thing happened to me commanding officer came over the 1MC and I was in shock they must have pushed our packages up.

No idea how it works for fleet side recruiting, but did your recruiter indicate you were immediate select? Or simply submitted in time for the previous board?

All I got was your package will be sent out to the next board for consideration. Next thing you know my skipper told me I got selected.
