Good Morning fellow applicants, I just heard from my recruiter that I've been selected based on what he can see in his system. He said official confirmation should be coming in the next few days. I'm not sure what that means for everyone else's results but it sounds like some of us might be hearing back sooner! We also discussed requesting a preferred OCS date as soon as the end of January/early February. Shoutout to my recruiter Chief Gustafson, 10/10 would recommend.
Congrats did they happen to say how many were selected or anything of that nature?

PPL isn't a great split in the first place, regardless of goals. A full body split 2-4x a week would probably serve all of us better. Training for anything should be in line with your goals, so including more work capacity (exercises/sets/reps) in a given period of time, would probably suit everyone the best. I also think the dogma of "only train body weight cause you're only gonna have to do bodyweight at OCS" is a huge miss. This is a hypothetical, so stick with me, but that's like saying "if you're only training for a 1.5 mile run, you should only run 1.5 miles max in training". Do your calisthenics and PT-style workouts, but do them with increasing resistance (weights) for longer durations/more rounds over the weeks/months. This sounds like a great case for triple progressions and giant sets. You'd might end up being physically prepared and conditioned for OCS, all while accidentally building some muscle. Gross, I know. Mountain tactical has some good programs for military selection/prep too, I've heard.

CrossFit probably works too lol.
I understand what you are saying about PPL, but one of the main reasons why I choose PPL is it still allows me to complete a 30 minute HIIT routine, or 30 minute run, or calisthenics or a mix of all of those at the end. The kinds of workouts that I have been told about occurring at OCS like V-Ups and Bicycle crunches I have been able to get really good at. The PPL is mainly for my own strength. I am aware that there are certain warmups and cooldowns that I have been told about that I also want to start preparing for.

The way it worked on the last board was a lot of the AD people were getting surprised by their skippers, later that day the AD could see it, then pretty much everyone found out

Just spoke to my OR and Officer Processor and there aren’t currently any results for this board. Not sure what @linder recruiter is looking at but I sure wish we had more info on it lol
