05MAY2025 SNA/SNFO Board

On the VERY original board schedule, it listed the May board as selecting applicants for FY25 and FY26. FY25 was filled up back in the Fall, so the rest of the FY25 board were cancelled, unless you were BDCP. ISEL does not apply, since their applications are viewed/accepted on a rolling basis.

Some schedules posted in this forum (as well as what some of us have been told through recruiters) have shown the May board cancelled, while June is still on. At the same time, the exact opposite is being shown and relayed by recruiters.

I don’t think there is any way of knowing until the At-Board list comes out, which would be in a few weeks if the May board is happening, or late May if the June board is happening.

Yeah, I was originally told by my recruiter that May was canceled, but the consensus seems to be June. Either way, I hope they'll have another board sometime this year.

I was told May was cancelled too, but still holding out hope. I think at least one of the two should happen since they were the first ones listed for FY26.

Do you think they may open up another board later this year?
It is normal to have about a board every 3 months, when I saw boards close together I thought some would be combined or cancelled.

There is also the affect ISEL is having on spots available, this is something only those at NRC HQ are probably privy to. I would venture to say they would start factoring that in to their calculations.

Do you have a copy of the original schedule?
I just went to mynavyhr and realized the schedule that WoodenLeg uploaded earlier was from the version that was posted yesterday, so I’m sticking with May happening lol. I didn’t look at that picture earlier.

If I remember correctly, the last version of the board schedule was uploaded in January, and that one had May as FY25/FY26.

Can someone please tell me about the Google Doc spreadsheet: what does Pro-Rec-Y and -N mean? What do the all the headings mean? Are the green highlighted people known accepted? If red, were they rejected, or do we know what happened?
Thank you.

Pro-Rec Y means you were “Professionally Recommended” by the board. In other words a Pro-Rec Y means you got accepted or you are recommended by the board to be selected. Pro-Rec N means you were not.

Light green means that you successfully submitted your package or you are “at-board”

If someone is dark green, that means they got a Pro-Rec Y.

No one should be dark green right now.
