Congrats man! How long after submitting did it take to hear back about your selection? Did they give you an OCS date?
I probably submitted about 2 weeks ago and my OCS date is August 10.Congrats man! How long after submitting did it take to hear back about your selection? Did they give you an OCS date?
I was told for this board from my recruiter that they are only allowed to submit i-sel candidates for SNA which is kind of wild. I don't know that for sure, this is just what I was told. This was last week .Anyone had confirmation from recruiters they they have been given permission to submit for this board?
exactly why im considering retaking it. This has been the trend since November. Sitting at a 6/8/7 right now and I do not want to risk the 8 but if they are only going to take ISEL applicants for the significant future I do not really have a choice.I was told for this board from my recruiter that they are only allowed to submit i-sel candidates for SNA which is kind of wild. If you don't mind doing the wait and your GPA is over 3.0 I would retake if you really want SNA. I assumed them closing out the boards towards the end of last year would lead to them picking up more candidates this year but it hasnt at all.exactly why im considering retaking it. I know what you mean, I’m at a 6/7/6, but I only have one more retake and studying for it isn’t as easy now that I’m teaching.exactly why im considering retaking it. I have 2 attempts left and my gpa is a 3.5 so I am really considering it. I've got 14 months till graduation so I think I am gonna wait it out until next fall to see how the next couple boards play out and then make a decision. I've been reviewing through the app here and there to keep myself up to speed in case I decide to retake. If you don't mind doing the wait and your GPA is over 3.0 I would retake if you really want SNA. Yeah I am really kicking myself over the 6 AQR as I wouldn't have to stress but that's life. Everyone I've talked to recommends I keep my score and wait it out so I am leaning towards not retaking.I know what you mean, I’m at a 6/7/6, but I only have one more retake and studying for it isn’t as easy now that I’m teaching.

Going for it. Only thing I am worrying about is the trend of ISEL only boards continuing for the forseeable future.Just go for it.
Just control what you can control, eventually everything will fall in place.Going for it. Only thing I am worrying about is the trend of ISEL only boards continuing for the forseeable future.
