Please don't take this as questioning your reliability, because I am not. Do you have any physical documentation of this that I can pass to my recruiter? We have been playing ping pong with this board date for the past month, and I would like to show my recruiter the confirmed date.

I would like to assume that my recruiter already has it, but I doubt it based on our past efforts.

Thank you

An updated board schedule (dated 12 Jan 17) has been posted on the FY17 OCS BOARD SCHEDULE thread.

Sorry this is a reply, new and not sure how to post an original comment.

As indicated above, I'm new to the OCS process. I'm taking the OAR tomorrow, but as far as I can tell, I got a 62 on the practice test. I have a BA in poli sci (2013) from a state school with a 3.1, some Arabic proficiency, but I'm not fluent, and I studied in Jordan. I've also written quite a few news and analysis articles about political and military issues in the Levant that have been published in a variety of publications, a couple of which the members of the board may have heard of. Apart from that though, my resume since college is pretty lackluster. I ran a successful Congressional campaign, sold cars, and had a couple periods where I was unemployed. My first choice is intel and I realize I'm not remotely competitive for that at this point, but my OR said there's also an option for SWO intel that's more collection and less analysis. So I'm wondering if anyone could tell me whether I might be competitive for a SWO intel spot or maybe an IW spot without going to grad school/becoming fluent in Arabic.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SWO-INTEL!!! This dead horse has been beaten way to many times.

You don't have a technical degree so scratch off IW. As for Intel STEM majors are the way to go, and trump any sort of foreign language/experience.
