Don't get nervous, its gonna take a bit if the past 2 months or so is any indication. I was PQ'ed/submitted SF-86 on 8 March and my FS letter is dated 23 May. Nothing to even give a second thought to until late July. It could still come earlier, just dont worry about it yet

When I called, the guy at the desk, he asked if I was under orders, and I informed him that I was. Has anyone received word on whether they are receiving funding for the drive and or per diem? My orders are for PCS although this technically isn't a PCS as we all follow on to training commands after OCS? When it comes to personnel/travel my knowledge is lacking. Anyone have an idea about this?

My admin department said I'd get advance pay for the drive and per diem. I filled out the paperwork last week.

Has anyone been working at the gouge yet on the OCS website. I've got down quite a bit, and most of it is a refresher since I'm active duty. However, there is a lot pertaining procedures for executing certain tasks in our class that I have not memorized yet. Just wondering how everyone is making out with it so far.

I'm also working on the gouge, doesn't seem too bad so far. I imagine the procedures will be something that we learn on the go, particularly the chow hall procedures.

Classmates, I'm reading over my orders and I seem to have some questions regarding the report date. My orders say that our class convenes beginning July 8th, but it also says report no later than 07 July but no earlier than 06 Jul. So are we required to have the quarterdeck stamp our orders for July 7th, and stay out wherever we have a room at, then the following morning before 1100 check back in? Reason I ask because up until today, I was just planning on arriving on the 7th at my hotel room, then just check in the following morning with OCS. Maybe I'm over looking this or thinking to much into it, but I know the Navy and I'm not trying to deviate from what my orders instruct.

My orders say the same thing, but the OCS website says to report on the Sunday closest to your orders date. http://www.ocs.navy.mil/check_in.asp You can always just call the OCS quarterdeck to double check to give yourself a nice warm and fuzzy, though.
