If you are AD you can have your ESO try to get a paper copy, but the NRD's were told specifically they are not to have any paper copies.

My guess is they have it on there for those deployed ships where people need the OAR and can't wait to return back, the other thing is the paper version can take weeks to get a score back, electronic is instant which means no delay in submission.

you can bring your own equipment for the PBM part?
I saw a beat up joystick packaging box in my recruiter's office that I assumed is used for the astb. The thing looked like it's from 2004.
No, i just used the joystick for my own practice. But you can bring your own headphones, at least my recruiter suggested to do so.
Oh and btw what software did you use to use the joystick as mouse? I've tried 3 different programs and I can't get any of them to work.

Hey guys, I am taking the ASTB on the 16th of next month and I am curious about the format of the questions for the UAV section. Has anyone taken it recently and can confirm the format whether it is the standard compass rose with the arrows designating aircraft heading, or if it is now a heading in number format, such as "030 degrees".

Hi everyone! I'm currently trying to go in as a Navy Officer. I have already been cleared for MEPS and my recruiter is waiting on my tests scores since I didn't do so hot the first time. I will be taking it on the 4th of August and have been studying for about a month now. I've gone through all of the Kyle's study guides, practice problems and all, but I think I still need to brush up on my math. I believe I just have the scores to worry about before he send my package to the board.
I also need pointers on how to control the throttle and the joystick since the controls my recruiter has is a bit over-used. They either move up and down and around too fast or too slow (unless I just have to engage my muscles to keep it at a rate for accuracy).
I think all ya'll recommendations matter more than amazon. I need to know which study guide works best. I graduate in late 2018 for my BS in Biology so it's been a minute since I've touched math that dealt with fractions.

I just took my second ASTB and, unfortunately, got a 53 5/4/4. I know i totally biffed the math portion, and I think I did not do super well on the anit portion. I got 100% on the uav, and only missed a few on the dichotic listening. I felt like I was tracking well on the PBM simulations, but its so hard to tell on that thing. I did the emergency procedures spot on too. Did my math score screw my other scores up that bad? I am really nervous to take it again, as I am not sure if I did really poorly on the PBM or if its just the math/anit. anyone have any insight?

I am going to go hard over the next month and study everything I can get my hands on. Any pointers that could help or has anyone been where I am that could give advice?

If your math was bad it would have really sunk your OAR, if was probably more your PBM and ANIT that caused the issues.
