It states that you only become eligible after 30 hours in the program, so i doubt itMight be a dumb question but if I'm applying already being on deans list for two semesters, does that count? I assume not.

They didn't count it for me. I think you have to be in BDCP during the semesters that you qualify for Dean's listMight be a dumb question but if I'm applying already being on deans list for two semesters, does that count? I assume not.

I just read in PA 147 that you are promoted to the next highest pay grade after completing 30 credit hours while in BDCP. Did I read this correctly? Seems like an even better deal if so. View attachment 43380
The PA doesn't say you can study abroad and last time the USN had BDCP it wasn't allowed. This might be a weird question, but I was researching studying abroad in BDCP and wondered what the Navy considered it to be so that it wouldn't use up leave. Does it need to be a whole semester-long endeavor that costs an arm and a leg, or can it be a couple of months while taking a full online class workload toward my degree and staying with relatives?
Thanks, I must've been reading outdated forum posts. The PA doesn't say you can study abroad and last time the USN had BDCP it wasn't allowed.
Check the dates, it could have been something recently changed, or it could have been something was allowed at one time? It doesn't hurt to ask but I do know we had a kid asking last time and the answer was "no".Thanks, I must've been reading outdated forum posts.
