1001 questions (and answers) concerning BDCP

Hey everyone, I got accepted and sworn in back in October for BDCP and have had no issues with my CAC until yesterday. I am prior service, so I already had a CAC. All of a sudden, I cannot get into anything on Quicklinks with the error message, "There was an error determining your Smart Card Identification. In order to log in with your Smart Card, please close your browser and all tabs associated with it to try again." I have already tried different browsers, deleting certs and redownloading them, and obviously closing/restarting computer. Not sure what to do now. Have not contacted my recruiter because it is the weekend. Im wondering if it's because my transition to active is being processed oddly and is causing issues with my CAC. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

What exactly do you need on quick links as a collegiate?

If the issues only took place today or this weekend, a lot of military websites and systems will go down on weekends for server maintenance and all. Try again tomorrow if that’s the case.

MyPay and NSIPS. Currently resolving issues where my reserve units are still mustering me for stuff despite them knowing I’ve been gone for weeks. I tried to reach out to the people at militarycac.com. I’ll try again tomorrow thanks.

My guess is that you haven’t been fully discharged from the Navy Reserve. Your former reserve unit should be initiating your discharge and most NRCs require proof like a DD Form 4 that show you actually enlisted / commissioned elsewhere.

While you’re at it, suggest also giving MNCC a ring to see if there’s anything they specifically see.
