Technically yes. They accept or defer for I-SEL. If you are deferred then they roll you to one of the scheduled boardsRandom question does I-SEL put you in a position where you don’t have to go to a board?
Some are saying the next FY. You have a much better shot if you aim for I-SEL, because most of the SNA slots are filled for the FY. SNFO is still accepting for I-SEL.Does anybody know when the SNA boards resume? I’m looking at ISPP for whenever the next board is

I didn’t really get a solid answer from him. He is in detail but not aviation and that’d he’d ask around. I did just decide to take the ASTB again and got 8/7/8. So, I should hopefully have an OCS date in a couple weeks.Thanks. Please let me know what they say.

Do you have a degree completed?I'm a little confused. Im trying my best to get in an application before the Jan13 deadline, but I read from @mmandziak that they are looking for NSA + BDCP applicants? I'm not entirely sure what that is and from the quick online search I've done it seems to be a program to help complete your Bachelor's degree, but if I've already graduated then do I not need to worry about the BDCP part, or does it hurt my chances not qualifying for the program? Either way I do qualify for ISEL so I'm just gonna give it my best shot and hope for the best.
Yes I have my degree completed years ago. 3.341 GPADo you have a degree completed?
Are you applying for SNA or SNFO?
Also, if you are doing I-SEL, it is rolling and you find out your OCS date sooner and can be shipped sooner. The deadline for the next board is 31st of Jan and that is still tbd.
The only thing hurting your chances is that they have mostly filled their slots for the fiscal year. If you are wanting SNA, I would either do I-sel or wait until the next available board ( the deadline for that is in April)
Yes. Your application will be pushed to a regular board if you are not selected by I-SEL.So regardless with I-SEL if I'm not picked up I will just get moved to the next board date?
Great, thanks! May not be realistic but my New Years resolution is to be at OCS by the end of the year and extra credit goal of getting to NASC before end of year as well lolYes. Your application will be pushed to a regular board if you are not selected by I-SEL.
Definitely keep in contact with your recruiter if you submitted already. It took 2 1/2 weeks until I heard back about SNFO.

Applying for SNA with I-SEL. ASTB Scores were: 65/9/9/8

ISEL is straightforward, if you meet the requirements you will be processed for an OCS date as long as spots are available.Yes. Your application will be pushed to a regular board if you are not selected by I-SEL.
