Just got off the phone with my recruiter. Pro-Rec Y for NFO. It’s been a long, difficult process, but it’s almost done. I’m excited but I don’t think it’s quite sunk in all the way yet. Congratulations to everyone and good luck to those that haven’t heard yet.

Not selected for pilot or NFO. 2.9 gpa and 55 5/6/6 as a reference. I also had a PI on a waiver so that really hurt me. Time study harder reapply later.

I texted mine at appx 9:56 AM and I'm going to call him at 3:00 PM if I have not heard from him yet at that point.

I think I'm going to do the same. Even if I get a no, I still like to know either way. I don't think I can wait all weekend. The suspense would kill me.

Certain this is an annoying question but can someone post a link to where the lingo is explained. Like Pro Rec Y or FINSEL. Tried google, didn’t really help.

ProRec-Y means you have been professionally recommended.
FINSEL means final select, this is when you will get your orders and a class date.

Contaced mine and he didn’t have any results. We’re a day ahead so it’s already the weekend for us here. Gonna have to wait till Tuesday to find out.

Called my recruiter and he said there are staggered parts or something like that. i.e. people that turned them in earlier got results earlier. If anybody selected here can corroborate with that it might be helpful. Besides all of that, im nervous as hell and just want to know lol. Also, congrats to the people that got the "Y" early.

Got the call from my recruiter this morning. ProRec-Y for SNA. I’m glad that wait is over! Sounds like I’m looking at a September OCS date but I will not know for sure until next week.
