I kind of figured that would be the case. I asked my COC about it, and they did not seem too sure. It would be unfortunate if I am not considered for any other program that I applied for and then, for some reason, I do not get my FINSEL for the designation I was PROREC'd for...I don't have any reason to believe that would happen but anything is possible...

Can they just not send you a FINSEL letter? I thought it was a given once you were PROREC'd but it took forever, hence all of the purgatory jokes.

LOL I honestly am not sure. I know they are looking to send SNFO's to OCS ASAP but I won't be available until July. So I always wonder if that will be a disadvantage. It was clearly stated on my application that I would not done school until then. I'm probably just being paranoid lol

I think you're safe. They selected you already, I've not heard of them revoking a selection just because your availability date is a while off; they can see your availability date before even selecting you (according to my recruiter, when I considered requiring 2 months of notice to my police department to replace me, he said they'd push my kit or select others over me if they saw such a far off date and to put no more than 30 days). Relax girl, enjoy that selection and bask in your status of "Final Select Purgatory" :cool:
