17NOV21 SWO Board

I spoke to my recruiter on the phone again today and he confirmed that a SWO board met in mid-October and the 4-week mark had just passed this Monday, meaning the board will likely release PRORECS soon. I told him what I had been hearing on this thread, and he completely disregarded it. I am honestly perplexed at this point. Also, I haven't given my stats yet, so here they are:

Applying for Supply & SWO from civilian side
GPA: 3.97
OAR: 59
some campus involvement (newspaper, research, etc)
Major: BS in environmental science
Well I hope your recruiter is right. That would be great if the results came out very soon.

The schedule that NRC put out doesn't jive with that, and the due date was Oct, it takes weeks to get the applications reviewed and compiled to be sent to the board, so this is more than likely not correct.

The dashboard also has the board date of November as well.

AD peeps, huge favor. Can one of y'all look and see if the grading sheet is attached to the At-board list as well? For SNA/SNFO, we were able to get the list of people who's at board but in the next tab to it we get to see everyone's stats and designators they applied too. It'd be nice if we can have that here for SWO as well.

That wasn't a grading sheet, it was a NRC data sheet, the at board list and the other sheet are internal documents.

Monitoring the 1NOV SNA board a few people received PRORECs so hopefully there is some movement soon.
Does anybody know the average time for results for SNA Boards?
Because before COVID my OR told me that SWO board results would come out within 4-6 weeks. But since COVID, board results are 8+ weeks.

My OR said I should expect to hear about both SNA and SWO boards at the end of December or first week of January which would be right about 8 weeks for SNA and 6 for SWO.

dashboard is updated for SNA and SNFO so those results should be out anytime.
Hopefully, we get ours soon after their official results are released. I think there is a high probability of that happening due to our committee having a smaller applicant pool to review (~168 candidates). Obviously, I understand that accession programs operate differently, but considering that both are high volume programs and board representatives from both communities take roughly the same amount of time to review each package, I would assume the rest of the process in terms of scheduling OCS class dates can’t be much different. Assuming they stick with their trend of selecting between 40-50% of the pool for FY22, that would leave only ~70-85 candidates to assign OCS dates for versus 236 (151 SNA=95 FY22+56 FY23, 85 NFO=50 FY22+35 FY23) spots between SNA and NFO to schedule OCS dates for FY22 and FY23 quotas! All pure speculation! Let the fun begin haha
