Idk how many of y’all applied to the AF the past year but my board got pushed over 4 times only to have it cancelled and my TSgt changing commands and saying ✌?Out. Ultimately landing me here on this Navy Board. So this has been a 2yr process unfortunately. What I’m getting at is if it is true as far as the selection for this board. We may see a low selection/ cancellation of boards in 2022.

My Airforce experience was a phone call which included "We aren't hurting for officers." An interview on base, and three AFJAG rejections. 0/10 would not recommend.

Yep, they are super interesting to work with to say the least. Kept being pushed to choose RPA (Drone Pilot) and ABM but I wouldn’t and stuck with only Pilot. Email for cancelling all the 2021 boards basically said “Retention is high.”

I swear I must have had the only good AF recruiter lol, he was great and wished me luck with the Navy process. But yeah, three cancelled boards was my limit

I called the Air Force/ANG hotline. I told the guy on the other line what my GPA was and he told me "I partied too much in college" (not true; didn't party enough). Ok. Then I told him how much I weighed...

Him: "You must eat good too"
Me: "Well the Navy cleared me through MEPS. So I know I'm good."
Him: "I don't know how the Navy does it..."
Me: "The same way the Air Force does it... Does that surprise you?"
Him: ".........call me back when you lose the weight"
Me: "I won't."

Now they call me and leave me voicemails once a month. 0/10

Fun fact I did MEPS through the AF ?? I think the only difference is the AF tests for stutters (makes you read a weird paragraph that will cause stutters if you have one, out loud). Also, I think the Navy does this too but they made me take a depth perception test. That was fun ?.

I will say though if any of you haven’t taken the TBAS for the Air Force, let me tell you. It makes the ASTB look like a cake walk.
