20 MAR 17 SWO BOARD THREAD

Has anyone gotten word on this SWO board? My recruiter said it was pushed back until may? with kits due in march? can anyone confirm please?

Checking in. Was it really pushed back twice?
Stats:
OAR:50
College GPA: 3.35 (BA English & BS Secondary Education)
Grad School GPA: 3.30 (MS Leadership & MAEd in Math Education)
Prior: USNA Midshipman

NavyOffRec, thank your sir for your response. To answer your question, yes I did read this thread, however; I wanted to also gather some fidelity over the post that RUFiO181 made. I am not questioning his/her credibility, but just wanted to have something concrete to show to my recruiter (other than what someone has listed on a forum) as he is not completely sure of when the next board convenes either last time we spoke. Although given the link I posted wasn't updated since 11/2016 - I'll suggest the date that RUFiO gave to my OR and see what his thought are.

If your OR knows how to do the basics of his or her job they will know where to find the current board schedule sheet, if they don't then how much do they really care about their job?

Thanks for the update Rufio.

Have you ever seen a board pushed back twice like this? What's your professional opinion on the possibility of another pushback?

This is just another minor setback I know, but it's still hard to swallow. I was suppose to be in the October SWO board last year, and my OR just told me there was a mistake in the system and that was that.

Not to discredit anyone, but I just heard back from my recruiter and she said the board has been pushed back to (the first pushback mentioned) March 20. If it takes them around a month to decide..maybe hear back April?

Which, in my case it would be a great birthday present to hear back a YES

RUFiO181 seems to be a pretty reliable source. Also, I remember seeing the date he posted on a NAVY announcements at some point up the thread. As a fellow April birthday person, I can assure you I sympathize with you, but it looks like we'll have to wait.

Given that RUFIO posted the actual board schedule from NRC giving the new board date, he would be more reliable.
