I feel the blocks on the appraisals hold some weight, but they are mainly going to read the write up and make a decision based off that. So, to me, the wrote up is everything. The senior the AMDO the better. If you have the top people in the community vouching for you, your doing good. I had the XO of CNAT(Capt Schneider 1500) in Pcola meet with me. He wanted to meet and talk about the community. He gave me a lot of good advice, asked me what I knew about the community and my back ground and my family life as well. It was not an interview, there were no wrong answers. Based on how our convo went he was going to do one of 3 things, write an appraisal, write an LOR or just give me some advice. When we finished he said that he would write me a favorable appraisal and that he would not write anymore for that same board due to top AMDO's not losing their credibility by writing multiple appraisals.

I submitted my application December 28 and have yet to receive a confirmation as well. Also, called the number above earlier today and got the voicemail all three times.

Myself and another buddy applied around the 4th of January due to our CO being on leave during the holiday. We have not recieved confirmation either.

I followed up on Monday. Sounds like there are several applications they are processing to include applications for other designators. Also trying to catch up on everything received over the holidays.

Yeah I think they are playing catch up. I know they read my email because I sent a read email confirmation notice attached to my application. They are probably screening and once they are done, they will begin replying back to all applicants letting them know if their application is good for further processing or require more information. Has anyone called NRC. I may call if I dont hear back from them prior to Tuesday next week.
Mine was just submitted and my recruiter said “it’s at boards” which I know she means processing before moving on to next stage. I haven’t been told directly it was revived, but sounds like they’re processing a lot.
