Where did you see this information?13 primaries and 7 alternates. I did notice one of the AMDO selects was also picked up for LDO this year. So there will be one lucky LDO alternate or AMDO alternate depending on what he chooses...

Call the AMDO OCM. He will have better guidance than any of us in this forum.
No different person. This guy was just selected via the LDO results from a few weeks agoThat might be the person that posted just a while ago saying she was selected both but sticking with LDO since she is already commissioned LDO?

And that’s exactly what he explained to me when I sat down with him recently. You guys need to understand, although it says “selecting FY19 and FY20 quotas” does not mean the alternates are the FY20 ones. What it means is the 13 people selected will go to OCS in either FY19 or FY 20 because those were the quotas. Reason being is simple. AMDO accession is not just from OCS. We have quotas to get people from OCS, Lateral xfer, POCR, Nuc power Inst, etc. All of those accession programs combine to make up our “year groups” which play a roll in promotion later on.I was given word from the OCM that if you're not called up to replace a primary you'll have to reapply next year. They're suppose to be updating the PA and getting away from the old way they did things.
Just curious, what determines the amount of alternates they select? And that’s exactly what he explained to me when I sat down with him recently. This will be my 5th try. Not giving up, at least this year I was an alternate selectee and not a N. Going to improve my OAR (i believe was my single weakness), I CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT MY TIS.We are a very small community. Approximately 420 from Admiral to Ensign. It’s different than other communities because we aren’t bringing in the amount of people yearly like Pilot, SWO, Supply, etc. I am only going off of recent history in the AMDO community because that is what these people applied for. I understand that CNRC manages when people attend OCS, but the OCM manages the community end strength for the AMDO Admiral, so the AMDO communities use of alternates can be, and has been, different in recent years (alternates were only called if a primary dropped out). Hopefully the intent is different this year because all of these people seem very eager to join the community and it would be an honor to have them.

I was picked up for both last year not this year...That might be the person that posted just a while ago saying she was selected both but sticking with LDO since she is already commissioned LDO?
How long does it usually take for a Final Selection letter to come out
