Civilian, all I think I can say, I was asked very cryptically about my availability, and it was implied that results were coming out very soon.

Are you a civilian? I don’t understand the cryptic part lol hopefully results do come out soon though, that would be great
Good evening group.
New to this site. I'm very interested in applying for the AMDO designator. I'm an AS1 at 11 1/2 years and graduate with my master's degree next month. I'm scheduled to take the OAR next month as well. I know I'll need a waiver for TIS according to the Program Authorization. I also will need a medical waiver, and not sure how to go about that part. I'm hoping one of you here has some insight on how to go about getting a medical waiver and what's the likelihood of my package actually making to the board for review with a TIS waiver and medical waiver?
My medical stuff hasn't precluded me from going to sea duty as I'm currently stationed on type 2 sea duty in a special projects command. I'd rather try and submit a package than not try at all and wonder the rest of my career.
Again, any information anyone has on the waiver process would be extremely helpful.
I'm not sure how to check that can you send me the link? Results are out on the MPT&E portal, congrats to everyone who was selected!
Can you please pm me the results? I dont have a cac reader right now. Results are out on the MPT&E portal, congrats to everyone who was selected!
As long as you don't screw up you are good.CO just gave me the good news. Prorec-y! So the board chose me, does that mean I'm 100% going to OCS? Confused by the wording. Is the 1520 designator/community guaranteed seats for all the applicants recommended?
Thank you for the clarification! I just wanted to be sure I didn't need to be recommended AND selected by OCS itself. I know I was medically cleared by OCS. Hopefully nothing goes wrong. As long as you don't screw up you are good.
Edit: and yes the wording is very confusing.

According to BOL I never even made board lol. It's exciting but I'm not counting my chickens till they're hatched. I still have to get TO OCS and get THROUGH OCS.The way it shows and reads in BOL is messed up, you would think after years and the fact they have changed the OCS process they would adjust the wording. I mean people back at NPC change shit all the time that isn't broken, so hello how about fixing something that IS broken!
