Either way, a 7 PFAR is in the 77th-89th percentile, so safely in the top quarter of test takers. I can't imagine that would have changed.

several years ago a 7 was only a 50/50 shot, and actually most of the people I had/saw take the ASTB rec'd 7's, few rec'd a 5 or 6, and some rec'd 8's and a few 9's.
then they required a N3M letter and that reduced the number of applicants, so 7's were getting selected quite often.
and now they are looking at not just test scores but other factors, if you looks there were several with 7 or greater that were a pro N, so how much does the score really factor now? who knows, unless you qualify for an auto-select.

I started talking to a recruiter at a career fair in March, took the astb and found out the PT requirements in April. Had no idea I'd be shipping in 3 months.
Hey everyone! Graduated with 03-19 and currently in OHARP. OCS was a blast, thanks for the support everyone! Wouldn't have made it this far without air warriors for sure.

02-19 grad here. You thought it was a “blast”? Shall I contact NAMI requesting a further psych evaluation for you?
Even I, who was originally 02-19 and rolled, still had a blast. It’s what you make of it. Yeah parts sucked, but the people were awesome and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else now. I wouldn’t do it again, but wouldn’t trade it for the world.
