You guys should be hearing any second now. I’m just had my recruiter text me. Unfortantely, some people are not going to get selected and I was one of those. Good luck to the rest of you guys/girls....

Hey, that was me in the last board. You can retake the astb 2 more times if that’s was your first. I didn’t even qualify for pilot last board, and only went for NFO. Taking the test a second time, taking your time, you can improve your scores drastically. But good luck in your future endeavors!

Better luck next time brother. Don’t let it get you down. Just try to improve your scores and try again next board.
Unfortantely if I was to try again it would be 2020. The general that signed my conditional release has straight up told me that I will never get another one. So I have to finished my contract before I try again.

But I’m not going to take the denial to heart. I still have an engineering degree so I have that going for me.

My scores were definitely not auto select scores. My flight scores are some of the lowest posted. I honestly thought I had little chance after seeing everyone else's scores compared to mine
This site is good basis but, scores on here tend to be much higher than the actually board acceptance averages. You can see that on their calculator.

I have taken the ASTB twice, the first time I had a killer pilot score but not so well NFO score but after I got through MEPS. A flight doctor told me that my eyes were not qualified. But all in all, the second time on the ASTB I did worse.

Well it sounds like you've got plenty of time to study and prepare for a third attempt if it's what you really want to do. Don't get discouraged and like you said you've got a degree and you're a Marine. That will always count for something.

Well maybe that has to with something else. Maybe, people who are willing to come onto AW and interact with others and read the gouges are the same people who are willing to study and put the first foot in the door. could be the correlation between users of AW and higher scores. Or I’m thinking too much.

Never Again.
I still have not received word yet from my recruiter so im still waiting.

I didn't read as much gouge as i should have on here in terms of the ASTB so i got scores i did. Either way, been on my knees praying more than usual. Of course, once im done with OCS, going to give out OCS gouge like candy.
