Thanks for always validating the craziness! Hoping that things smooth out a bit. 6 weeks for results is a load of crazy haha. Talked to a few people that were saying 1-2 weeks tops. I have developed the R. Reagan approach of "trust...,but verify."The results used to come out very fast as the actual board is only a day for most designators, so then all they did was put the names on a paper and sign it. Things have changed though, physicals are done before applications are sent to board, so there is now verification after of many things once selections are made, and OCS dates are assigned right away so that takes a huge amount of time. You basically have all the info right when you get your notification vice having to wait for months like it used to be.
what was your first choice? if you don't mind me askingAs far as wait times: I applied to a third choice and got results in a week from that board in April.
Although I'm sure all boards have their differences, hopefully that is an indicator of things starting to go back to running full time and smoothly and hopefully an indicator of this board also moving quickly ?

I can attest to this, my recruiter got back me the Monday after the AMDO board. The main difference tho is that they looked at 50ish people for AMDO as opposed to the ~200 people for this board. Idk how that will affect everything but let’s just hope for similarly quick turnaround for nowSo obviously SNA/SNFO results would be coming from the same board but the AMDO board results took only a week to hear about

Probably something like thisI really wish I knew how these boards are conducted.
Yeah, so is there any knowledge on how these boards work, who’s on them and where it’s located?I really wish I knew how these boards are conducted.

I mean, when I was in the Navy, I saw many many many pilots and flight officers come and go, there is many of those in a squadron. There was ONE AMDO in my 4 years in there, and he was a prior AE as well (oh siii).....that should give you some perspective lolI can attest to this, my recruiter got back me the Monday after the AMDO board.
