Lol embarrassing. For real though people’s shins get wrecked at OCS. H classers on crutches and people limping everywhere lol. Highly recommend getting some boots beforehand and getting your feet and ankles used to that as well.

Speaking of...any boot sock recommendation from what you guys have read or from the AD folks? Outside of fox river.

I have under armour boot socks, light and breathable. Probably wouldn’t be the best if you go during winter though. They are great here in Hawaii.

I’m just gonna use my go-to hiking wool socks that are nice and warm during winter but also super breathable in the summer. Adds a nice level of cushion during my 10-15 mile hikes. I know for a fact nothing is better for me.
