What happens if you have an existing clearance while you submit another SF-86? Does your employer get notified?
So....they way it worked for me...was that, I submitted the SF86, and then the entity in charge of the investigation just corroborated that I had a clearance with an investigation within the timeframe....and then that’s it....I’m coolio

If your current/ former employers got quesionairres from the FBI, does that mean that your package has probably been submitted?
No. I had my interview and my employers were notified for security clearance and I was still rolled in Jan. Just means the paperwork is working it’s way though.

Part of the reason I decided to go Navy is because I think their selection of aircraft is great and regardless of pipeline, I will enjoy flying what ever they have. A lot of people like to talk crap about the C-2 but you still get launched off a carrier and also they're transitioning to the Ospreys very soon which is a super awesome aircraft.
This is my second post on Airwarriors but I had to let you know that I’m currently flying on the navy ospreys right now as a crew chief and I can confirm that they are definitely cool aircraft. I am certainly trying to come back to VRM-30 as a pilot.
What sets the C-2 and CMV-22 apart from other communities as a potential platform has got to be the style of deployments. Because our main mission is Carrier Onboard Delivery, we constantly fly to and from the ship, so we never spend too much time on the boat, and always get a hotel to return to once our shift is over.

Mine went through this way too. They contacted my employer and then got an email it was good to go.

So my OR sent me this today, looks like my application made it to board. I didn't realize I would find out this fast. I submitted Friday April 2nd. Has anyone else gotten something similar?
