There have been a few including one other one on this site that have had this happen to, clearances at the same level are not all the same (I know it sounds weird), and I am sure they are looking down the road 10 or so years thinking they don't want to put you in a position to hinder any of your future billets.

How do all of these recuiters know that the packages made it to the board already? I thought that we wouldn't know that until the at-board list came out, or am I missing something? Haven't heard a word about it from my recruiter since it was submitted months ago

I received a message from my recruiter last week saying that my package has made the boards and results are expected beginning of July.

I’m guessing that they checked the status and are basing it off of that. Check my post on page 51, my recruiter said the same thing and sent me a screenshot from the program used to track applications.

exNavyOffRec said that that status does not mean it has made it to the “official” board from how I understood it.

Your recruiter is able to look in the system and see where the packages are in the routing process. Your OR more than likely seen that your package made it through the screening process and is awaiting board (will be seen by board). Unless something happens between now and then, (like the speculations of AD only, no board etc), your package be considered by the board. Once the atboard list gets published, you’ll know for sure. You should be on the list as long as there is no changes to the actual board.

I had a few friends who applied back in 2014 from the active side and they found out a few days after the board. That was when you would get selected and then a few months later, get a class date. Filling seats before notifying selectees has slowed the process down exponentially.
