I got my Hotel room at the Navy Lodge for the 24th - If there is a FB group yet, we can check to see who else will be in town that night.

SNA, checking in for this OCS class. Just got the word, on such a short turnaround, too! Any word on the Facebook page for us to get together on? I'd rather spend a night getting to meet y'all before we're staring at each other from across a hallway

Congrats man! Can’t wait to go through the wonder that OCS is with everyone. Myself and @SCBVA-18 don’t have FB, but no word on the group yet. Feel free to make one! I’m flying there on Friday and am up for meeting everyone on Saturday.

I have an "OCS Survival Guide" that just suggested a few places. The Navy Lodge is accepting reservations right now for active duty orders (which is us) and it seems near everything so I went ahead and made a reservation for the night.

Yeah I read through the guide too. Going to make reservations today at the Lodge as well. I’m still checking out right now last day is Monday.

I got the NGIS for 2 nights at $80/night. That’s all they had nothing cheaper. I asked for just a closet but oh well.

Notified on 7 FEB that I will be in this class! It was the same day as the board so I'm skeptical I'll receive my FINSEL before 25 FEB, especially since the background screening can't begin until 12FEB after I update my fingerprints at MEPS. Anyone familiar with the logistics of the background screening clearing before you receive your FINSEL?
