26JAN2026 IWC Board

Hi all,

I'm applying for CWO at this upcoming board. This will be my first attempt at board. Here are my stats:

65 OAR
2.74 GPA (had to get waiver)
BS in Informatics (CIP Code 11.0104)
2 LoR (both non military)
I'm 27 and non prior
4 years relevant work experience but non leadership positions.

I'm worried about my GPA being a limiting factor in my packet and hope the OAR score can help offset it a bit. If I don't receive a recommendation I will probably look at applying for SWO in the future.

Intel is a separate board from CWO. Some jobs within IWC will be reviewed while others wont for that specific board. For e.g., MCWO wasn't reviewed in the Aug 11 Board, but CW, IP, and Intel were. But I believe they're still allocating slots for Intel, don't quote me on that though.

Your GPA will probably kill your chances, looking at trying for SWO later on is a good idea.
 
Would anyone be able to tell me if SWO-CW is on this board? My recruiter has not responded to my attempts to communicate in the last week but I know they're busy working on packets.
 
Uh oh sounds like I'll need to give my recruiter a call to confirm. I'd rather change my #1 designator from CWO to MCWO than wait a couple of months for a board that might also not happen.

Also does this airwarriors board cohort seem a lot smaller than the last?
