Yes we are still a state...but we are really more of bump in the road next to the Mississippi lol. You can sit in my office to prepare for the cold weather if you want. Running in Orlando this weekend should be interesting for me.

I know it's a state, I was just messing around. Haha Nice I'll be in Orlando this weekend too! Going to watch some UCF baseball! You going to Disney world?

I'll be running through it. And the Magic Kingdom will still be dark when I go through. I should actually be able to see Epcot tho, sun should be up by then.

Really though, it can be the most beautiful weather we experience--it could be San Diego-esque--and I'm sure they'd do their best to make it miserable.

So, I am going to be completely honest, I have some nerves built up about OCS. Been in the Navy for 14 years (yes, I am old), and have been working towards this for a long time now, I guess just nervous something doesn't bring my journey to a halt while there. Looking forward to getting this show on the road! Please add to Facebook page (Darry Pilkington- make sure it is the Navy one, grandfather has same name) Thank you!

Still waiting on orders to get cut, so not sure when I will be flying in, but if it is by Saturday, definitely up for getting together.

If any of us are not nervous, it's only because we can't yet fully comprehend what we are going into. Your experience will be huge for the class, and I look forward to learning about Navy life from you!
