Those who are enlisted know this very well. Everytime you are eligible to advance pay grades, you must take an advancement exam. Of course, the Navy being the good ol Navy, the results don't come out until after 3 months of waiting, and the date is never exact. I pretty much had to wait with anxiety everytime from E-3 to E-6. At first, I thought this was going to be easy and be the same as waiting for advancement exam results. But.... waiting for these result is wayyyyyyyy worse.
