I am memorizing most of the App B, mainly the big three and ranks. What helps me a lot, and one other member here suggested, is to write it all out. I have a pile of scrap paper with repetitions, over and over of the big three. Hope this helps.

You will get it. Try to make sense of them, read in phases and think of what it means. I recite the app B info while I drive, any study time I get helps.

I booked a room at the Navy Lodge also. I will have the Navy fly me up there; I have heard/read that having a car is basically useless. I am hoping to arrive in the afternoon on May 27. I cannot make travel arrangements until I have hard copy orders. Unfortunately I just found out that due to funding my hard copy orders won't be released until the last week of April.

Due to funding they can't print your orders? That is very strange.

I was told due to budget issues they can't fund my orders at all until late April. I have been through this delay before with orders, but in that case it was near the end of the fiscal year. I don't understand the delay in this case.

I'd have a serious conversation with your recruiter and processor if I were you. They literally send PDFs and print it on regular copy paper.

I now have a plane ticket; I am arriving in Newport on Friday, May 27. If everything is on time I predict I will get to the base around 1630. If anyone will be around and wants to get some food let me know.

By the way, I recently found out that there are 3 separate hotels on the base at Newport. I did not realize that when I booked a room. I am staying in the chalet.
