So why allow us to apply?
That not public information to let people know they met quota but I tell you there an actual quota for actual duty, and there a quota for how many people need to ship to OCS every year ad and civilian

So you're saying they may have pushed AD, Pro Rec No to the next board? Is that possible?

However, I was Pro Rec N, SWO was my second choice. You think I may have been pushed to the next board? I am waiting on results for Supply which is my first choice, do you think that's why may I received a Pro Rec N for SWO right now? They may be waiting to see if I make Supply first?

If your ask me my opinion I going to say if SWO want you they would of selected you period! But also SWO being your second choice doesn’t exact say select me either

maybe they met quota for the year already and push everyone to the next board in NOVEMBER
This board was for FY 23 as was the previous board, for a person to count for FY 22 they would have had to leave for OCS about the 1st week of July, anything after is FY 23.

It is not a goal, it is for metrics, just like officer recruiting doesn't have goals at the boards for Hispanic, Black, M or F, they keep track to see where they need to improve recruiting efforts. This is not like enlisted recruiting that does.

NRC missed their AD officer goal and from last look it was due to SWO.

In the past boards if you didn't put SWO number 1 the chances were very low. This has changed from time to time.

There is still a quota, on the dashboard about how many personnel need to ship, but it ok it really doesn’t matter
