Think it's still too late to get selected for this class? don't see a lot of posts in here.... keep wondering if any people are gonna get lucky and have to scramble to get ready for the end of the month.

Frow what I've been hearing, most finsels for the class went out over the last couple weeks. That said, this whole process has taught me you never know what can happen, so I wouldn't categorically say it can't happen.

Its hard to tell... we never seen anyone in purgatory or in these select dates checking in. Hard to know who is going and from what board.

You can see navy enlisted folks in entrs and I work closely with the psd that processes OTCN candidates and I can tell you that all OCS classes check in pretty full. Also someone was put in the 31 jul class on Friday, 8Jul16, so it can still happen.

@Chris1989 how did you even get a fin select for this class having come from the may supply board. figured that board was gonna be for fy17. lucky you haha

I do not have one yet. I just happen to be stationed in Newport RI and be an admin enlisted job and work closely with the PSD so I always hear about new classes coming in.

the last june class to go out only had about 27 people in it.... wouldn't necessarily consider that full. My buddy sent me an image of their shirt with all the names of the candidates on it the day before he started

Yeah not sure about the one that started yesterday although, did see the signs for it when I was going to the gym

I just checked eNTRS and they just added some enlisted guy today so it can still happen for anyone as they still seem to be adding people. I think it is because funding freed up some since we had several sets of orders release in the last few days.

Do you know how many candidates get selected per class? Anyway to figure out how many there are currently for 31JUL?

Gotcha! Yeah, trying to keep track of the influx of candidates. There have been many candidates who have been selected who PRO REC'd many months later than I did. Any ideas as to why? Possible budget/travel expenses? My recruiter isn't really sure as to why either. I'm all the way over here in AZ.

I have no idea how that works lol. Wondering the same myself (as I am not an OR). However, 901-874-9028/DSN 882 ocsquestions@navy.mil <----there is the info they list to contact them in OPNAV 1420.1B so you can always give that a shot and maybe get an update (I've used the email and it takes a few days to get a response, the phone is hit and miss so keep trying.) Hope that helps.
