4 Feb 2018 OCS Class

Sent in my transcripts last week and my recruiter called me today. He said there is a very good chance I will be placed in this class, but awaiting official confirmation from the final select letter.

What have you guys been studying academically? Since taking the ASTB last Feburary, I haven't studied anything Navy related, and my recruiter never gave me any packets/pamphlets/etc...Just tells me to do more push ups lmao

I am still waiting on both as well. Similar to what Cookie_monster said, my recruiter informed me that I was in this class and that the Navy is behind on the FINSEL and orders. Have faith, we will get them soon!

I am just relaying what my recruiter told me. I would imagine the holidays are one of many reasons why.

Well, turns out my FINSEL came in; however, I can not swear in until the Government Shutdown is resolved. So, more waiting. Hopefully, the shutdown doesn't affect our class date. I'm ready to go!!!!

My recruiter said he hopes to hear something by Friday. I feel like that's cutting it a little close (not his fault) but that gives us one week to swear in and get orders. And I'm currently in the Air National Guard and need official orders to complete my out processing. Looks like next week will be rather busy!

They resolved it until February you guys should be good to swear in.

Hopefully you are correct. I'll check with my OR tomorrow and see if anything has changed.

I will swear in this Friday and should have orders the same day (according to my processor). Could not be more excited to get this party started!
