4NOV24 SWO Board

NKMess

SNA Select, AD HM1
That sounds spot on. 1306/7 for everything when active.
Yeah, when I applied that was the only thing that Mr. Celestin asked for. Actually, I didn't even have the filled 1306/7 (neither did the CCC), so I just forwarded the email from MNCC. It all worked out though, got my orders for OCS, hope to see some of y'all there in February.

Did you get it before you were selected or after? I already applied and no one has asked for that yet.

I did it before I was selected. I applied only a few months after checking into my current command, so I wanted to get that out the way before I committed to finishing my package. I got super lucky honestly. I think the conditional release is only required depending on your rate, now that I think about it. I'll have to go through my emails, but the first time Mr. Celestin emailed me back I recall he mentioned HMs and another rate I cannot remember required conditionals. So based on that, the requirement for the conditional release probably isn't universal for most ratings. If you're unsure, I'd just reach out to Paul so you don't get snagged after selection.

Yeah that’s what I did being that I only have an email saying my 368 was approved. I was just curious because someone along line between now a submission wanted to know if I had an actual copy of it. I was wondering if anyone else ran into this issue.

Well that's interesting, maybe a little comforting to see I wasn't the only one with that experience. The administrative uncertainty of the application process was not something I enjoyed at all.

Now that you mentioned the email from Paul. It does have HM and NUC are required conditional releases from their communities before applying to OCS.

Have any of y’all’s recruiters updated you on when we will likely get the results? I know 10 days has been the amount of days after they convene for previous boards, just curious if there’s any other word

My CCC and the officer recruiters said it takes about 2 weeks.
Paul has a standard answer of 2-10 weeks and there is a good reason behind that. While the board itself takes a day it is all the admin items that take the longest, the processors need to do that in addition to the many other duties they have, and then you add it people taking time off, such as next week where you have a federal holiday on a Monday, they can take a few extra days off and have a nice vacation.

Yeah we will have to see then, I just think Thursday since the last bunch of boards have gotten their results after 10 days exact. Even the last board that convened right after Labor Day and a board in the middle of July when a lot of people probably take leave. Obviously I can’t be sure, but especially with other swo boards getting rescheduled to closer dates I’m hopeful we will find out by the end of this week! :)
