That’s just what he told me when he confirmed my package was in at the board. I’m not sure if it came from somewhere above him or just a guesstimate because of the other board timelines.

Before thanks giving guaranteed, my recruiter told me he was told directly from the pentagon that they would be releasing results by Thanksgiving “latest” which gave me hope for this week but whatever I guess lol, Wednesday it is!

Officers are by YG, if they miss they miss, they don't make it up. That was also accession goal, if they have less attrition through the pipeline the miss won't be that bad.

If retention was that bad they wouldn't have officers getting FOSx2 and getting forced out. The "retention is bad for SWO's" has been going on for decades, a LT I worked with was coming up for orders and asked his detailer what he could get, the detailer said you can go to X, when the LT pushed back the detailer said stay in or get out I don't care we have made our retention numbers, even though we were being told it was being missed.

Nothing more than that and he said they told him by Thanksgiving so only reason we have to worry would be if we don’t get results by Wednesday night this coming week

Most of what he said is accurate from past experiences, however no one can guarantee by Thanksgiving since processors can only work so fast, and unlike sailors they can't make civilians work extra hours. What was probably said is "we hope to have results out by Thanksgiving".
