I emailed my recruiter every couple of days once I started seeing on here that AD applicants were hearing back. I've been trying to not bother her too much about my FINSEL now, but it is what it is :D

Here are the stats from @Chop07 on the last board:

"26 selects. 136 total to board. 19.1% selection rate. Of the 26 selects, 6 are fleet sailors. Of the 136, 38 are fleet applicants. 15.6% of fleet applicants were selected. A fleet applicant is ANY applicant in uniform, regardless of whether on active duty or reserve."

If that is what he told you then you need to find a recruiter knows about officer recruiting and how the boards work, and even if this was the first board they were selecting for the FY there aren't more spots for them to give it is all distributed fairly evenly over the boards that are held.

Glad to see I’m not the only one! If you’re AD Navy, would your Commander notify you before BOL updates? I’m at the mercy of the recruiter for information. My recruiter mentioned he’d check this morning and never heard anything
