Hey ya'll,

Looks like I'll be missing yet another board. I was told by a doctor at MEPS she felt a mass in my thyroid. Got an ultrasound that showed a "mass" 5 mm large and that it's a colloid cyst. Thought I was all good until I heard back last week that they are requiring a biopsy. Just got it and have to send the results up when I get them. In shorter terms, not early enough for this board. I know it's not disqualifying, so hopefully I'll get the next board. Good luck ya'll!

For those of you that where asking about the board dates. If you take the link below Rufio posted the dates for FY18 on the 1st page. I heard on occasion the dates change though.

Dang, that sucks you're delayed again. That must be frustrating. Best of luck getting everything sorted out. Hopefully you can catch the next one.

Rufio usually posts when the dates change (toward the end of page 1 he posted a changed spreadsheet) so just keep an eye on the thread for updates.

All I’m waiting on is a physical. My recruiter was supposed to schedule it for last week or this week but hasn’t responded to any of my messages for almost two weeks so it looks like I’ll be waiting for the next board too. Pretty disappointing.

Sadly I don't think I'm going to make this board. I think my recruiter is on vacation and rightfully so seeing as its the holidays.

I also don't foresee myself getting scheduled for MEPS, getting my blood work and drug test done and results back in the next 24 hours.

I wish you all the best of luck and hopefully I'll see some of you at OCS and beyond in the future, I'll no doubt be in the next group of applicants. I will also continue to be an AW lurker.

Pray that everything goes well. All of a sudden the MEPS doctor said I had a mass in my thyroid. Never even knew something was there. I had to go and get an ultrasound and biopsy. Which is why I am missing this board. Get that physical asap. You never know what they might find.

Pilot: anything tailhook, or helos

Though I'm pretty sure I'd be happy flying anything for the Navy

I am torn between the P-8 and F-18. However, I would be happy to fly wherever the Navy decides to put me.
