A few misc. NFO Questions.

So long story short, I've put my packet in for the Nov 14th board and will hopefully be an NFO sooner then later.

I don't really care what I fly (flying anything and getting paid for it would be a dream regardless) but I just wanted to get a general idea of how much flight time NFOs get? I've heard that rotary wing guys get less, but my sources have been iffy.

Right now I'm getting flight lessons at a local flight school, how much will this help me when I get to Primary Flight Training?

Finally a rather generic question, but one that I've had a tougher time finding a good answer to. What are the responsibilities of an NFO outside of things related to flight? What do you do on the base/ship? I'm super new to all of this so excuse me if this question is silly.

So not sure if you should get dinged for not using the search function of if your recruiter should get dinged for not talking to you about the designators, but NFO's don't fly in rotary, helo's have 2 pilots, NFO's are in fixed wing.

Omg I'm an idiot, I meant Naval aviator, I have no idea why I typed NFO or posted it under here. I think i was just not fully awake yet.
