I don't know who you are, but I now believe your NoBS avatar is legit.
Stumbling upon this web forum a few weeks ago, I quickly identified you as a potential, lucrative target for me to set straight. Therefore, I have been stealthily trailing you for weeks on this forum, lurking unseen, high at your 5 to 7 o'clock, in the sun, looking for any of your expected mistakes or vulnerabilities.
To my dismay, I have not yet seen any mistakes or vulnerabilities. Therefore frustrated, I now must expose my position.
A4sForever - I think you do a great service to the many readers of this forum. Your perspective here may be unique, and perhaps may sometimes be considered antiquated by some. But it is legitimate, authoritative, and valuable! And as me being probably a contemporary of yours, I must admit that not only do I agree with most of what you post, I may have actually learned a couple of things… ah, make that only simple, minor, unimportant things, at most. (And I could have sworn I knew everything!)
Reading the many posts of the younger guys, I am reminded of my own zigzag journey of multiple, serious career decisions, and my many experiences of so many years ago. Your posts add a needed balance, perspective, and even spice to the total picture of those now making similar important decisions, or wondering about their circumstance and future.
As you well know, we all belong to one of the most exclusive and prestigious fraternities in the world… that of being a United States Naval Aviator – here on this site, whether prospective, current, or former.
You and I, as old experienced warriors whose opinions have been tempered in the fire of combat, I expect we may eventually lock horns in some verbal disagreement. Actually, as an old fighter pilot, I look forward to our potential disagreements and verbal combat. You obviously are a very worthy adversary of the highest caliber. I suspect you were as competent in the air, just as you are here.
Meanwhile, I'll just continue to lurk. However, make one bad move and I'm in quickly for the kill.
BZ. But check six, mi compadre.
