If that's what you want

Hey handjive,
Are you K-rock guys flying charlies yet? If not, when is that change coming up?
Being in the digital cockpit is a huge plus for the meridian route. Velocity vector/E bracket/waypoint navigation. Nothing gets a HUD cripple's heart beating like the thought of flying off an actual gyro.
Chase that VSI bubba!
No C models for studs yet. We've got enough jets, but as Brian said, it's a matter of waiting for the sims to come online.
Honestly, when I was filling out my selection sheet, I thought that getting a chance to fly a C would be a big deal. That's why most of the guys by me wanted to go to Meridian. It is definitely cool to have the Gucci gear and it must make life a little easier in the jet, but looking back now, I find it hard to make the decision based
solely on that. As you mentioned, it is a
plus, but I don't feel like I really missed out on anything big. It might take a few more flights for me to adjust in the RAG, but in
my case, the adjustment to this jet was a bigger issue (I had enough trouble with the steam gauge cockpit). I'm sure there are some advantages to learning things the old school way too. No doubt this issue has been beat to death in other forums.
As I said before:

If you have additional requirements or priorities that make Meridian more attractive, go for it. But all things being equal, I think you will be much happier in Kingsville, especially if you are concerned about "atmosphere".
If you are a VV junky then you might have an "additional requirement or priority" to choose Meridian. Me... I still vote for K-Rock.
PS: I might even miss that gyro. <--famous last words.
