There is no difference, just a slight lack of knowledges. But that's what we're all here for right? To increase our knowledges.

Yeah I dont understand the Navy aviation contract pro-rec final select thing...I only really know that the marines guarantees it, but people are telling me that the navy is the same way so knowledge absorbed.

a silver palm is an award after eagle scout that some overachievers get when they dont wanna get out of the boyscouts yet. Icing on the cake

Not necessarily . . . I got mine by just having more than the required number of merit badges for Eagle. You get a bronze palm for 5 extra, gold for 10, silver for 15, then you can get another level too. Just extra icing though.

Good evening y'all. This is my first post. I'm graduating with my B.A. in History in a few days from Gardner-Webb University. I've got a 3.92 GPA, and I'll be a graduate of the Honors Program and be Summa Cum Laude. I'm an Eagle Scout with Sliver Palm, among other things.

My question to y'all is . . . what do I need to score on the ASTB to secure my desired path of SNA? Does anyone have a clue? And, how likely am I to get in with my credentials. I'm getting 5-6 LOR's, 2 from Professors, 1 from a boss/friend who is Chief of Police and former Coast Guard, 1 from an Army MAJ, and 1-2 from Close Family Friends. Is that going to suffice?

Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! :)

Argh, there are so many variables that factor into your package. You'll also need to consider PRT scores; at least for me, they had to be submitted ALONG WITH my package, I think they're doing it that way now.

They'll look at your whole application and put it up against the other applications they have, and decide if they have a spot for you. Just do your best and wait and see.

That's how it was described to me, anyway.
